Nostalgic for Now specializes in pop-cultural commentary. Album, concert, film and book reviews are offered daily, beamed directly from our base of operations in the center of Cincinnati to your cerebral cortex. Content on this site is divided into six juicy and delicious categories:

• Alive! – Reviews and recollections from live musical performances.
• Hot Wax – Previews, reviews and commentary on recorded music.
• Flicker – Film previews, reviews and analysis.
• Paper Trail – Reviews of books, magazines, graphic novels, comics and ‘zines.
• Gamers Killed the Video Star – Commentary on and reviews of recent and classic video game releases.
• WTF, Cincinnati? – Commentary on the city of Cincinnati… and WTF is up with it.

The site also features regularly published columns, including:

• Spinning Plates – A weekly examination of essential “long players,” albums worth listening through from the first note to the last.
